Although data has always been covered by EA frameworks, it has never been pivotal – unlike applications or capabilities. However, with the ubiquity of AI systems (or at least the vision of ubiquitous AI systems), this is taking its toll. The lack of data transparency in many organizations is impeding the scaling from a use-case-by-use-case approach to an enterprise-level and platform-based approach to AI adoption. I think it is time to go all in. So, the question in this talk is not what AI can do for EAM, but what EAM can do for the AI adoption in organizations.
