The content of the model is of course always the truth. Diagrams, Excel sheets, text, and Word documents are just different ways of representing that truth. We, as humans, use them to fill the repositories. The method used depends on the type of content (bulk, complexity, point of interest). It shows your background as a system and application designer, which is good. However, it also highlights what a designer is interested in, which is why you put ArchiMate on the right as less useful for diagramming purposes. I strongly disagree with this. ArchiMate is a visual language with overlapping and disjoint concepts with UML.

I hope I didn't say that ALL archimate diagrams are not useful. Just the onnle which peopole create ONLY to help them with the maintenance. My issue withthe example diagram I showed was that its SO complicated - I wonder if anyone could say that the diagram is structurally correct, or not? But I think you have understood my point - lets talks about which diagrams are useful, and which ones are not.

Are there specific security considerations or safeguards in place when automating model deployment, especially in industries with strict regulatory requirements?

This depends on your business rules! People tend to make more errors than scripts! Scripts can be reviewed and stored for audits! So if you ask me for Industries with strict regulatory automation is required!

For organizations just starting with automated model deployment, what are the essential prerequisites or steps to take before implementation?

Define a common baseline or Template Project and then move step by step - Rome was not built in a day.
